Guy Buffet. "Napa Valley Mustard Festival" Limited Edition Serigraph. Guy Buffet's playful compositions and his complex use of colors are the result of years of formal training in the best art schools of France. At 14, Buffet enrolled in the prestigious Beaux Arts de Toulon and took advanced studies at the Academic de Peinture de la Ville de Paris. He now resides in Maui and has been commissioned for numerous prestige projects. From a limited edition, 56/595, this serigraph on paper is a celebration of life, friends, great food and wine and the splendid colors of Napa Valley. Serigraph with white borders measures 34 x 34" and is hand-signed and numbered by the artist. Serigraph has never been displayed, very recently shrink-wrapped on foam core to be photographed for auction and in mint condition ready for framing. A terrific work. Estimated Value $300 - UP

Carvallo, Feliciano. Bodegón, Frutas y demás Hierbas (Still Life, Fruits and Herbs). (1920-) Venezuelan artist all but self-taught. He mounted his first exhibition in his living room rapidly won acclaim for his use of color and joyous abstractions. Bodegón, Frutas y demás Hierbas", a fantastic limited edition serigraph #92 of 275 that truly captures why the artist is beloved in his country and by collectors worldwide. Pulled in 1988, Carvallo has hand signed, numbered and dated in lower white border. Serigraph is as bright and colorful as it was 40 years ago. John Kelly. "The China Suite" Folio of 5 Signed, Numbered Impressions on Japon Paper. In February of 1979, John Kelly was the first American artist to extensively travel throughout China to create a suite of lithographs. The suite ended up being five images of 12 colors. The edition was limited to 250 impressions on Arches paper and 50 impressions on Inomachi Nacre (Japon) paper on which this suite has been printed. Each lithograph is hand signed, hand titled and hand numbered by Kelly in pencil along the bottom white margin in his handsome cursive writing. The individual titles in this suite are: "Hang Chow," "South China Sea," "The Fisherman," "The Bejing Express," and "Wang-Pu River." It is very difficult to find a complete suite of these lithographs, still in their handsome folio, 26½ x 20½", and in mint condition. Further, John Kelly has inscribed and signed his name on the title page of the folio. Beautiful suite of images and comes with the original COA from a gallery in Marina Del Rey, CA. in 1979. Linda Le Kinff. España (Original Acrylic on Board) + Two Signed Lithographs. (born 1945) Popular French/Italian painter who has certainly found fans throughout Europe and the Americas. 1.) Original acrylic on black painted board entitled "España" as Kinff has written on back in white wax pencil. Being painted on the black-painted panel has given this piece a more fantastic texture and depth than most of her other works. 15 x 18" and beautifully framed to 21 x 24" in gilt wood. 2&3.) Included in this lot are two signed lithographs by Le Kinff, "La Biblioteca" (48/350) measuring 22 x 19" and "Patchwork" (HC 30/50) measuring 24 x 20" (both can be seen on internet). (1881-1973) After Picasso's death, his granddaughter, Marina, authorized the printing of lithographs from a number of her grandfather's works which have come to be known as The Picasso Estate Collection. These lithographs were created after the original works by master chromist, Marcel Salinas, who worked closely with Picasso in his lifetime. The collections were issued in edition of 500 and printed on Arches paper. To ensure authenticity, these lithographs were all hand numbered and signed by Marina Picasso and stamped with the embossed seal of the estate and the chromes. "Guitare et Partition" was originally painted in 1920 and the publication of the lithograph between 1979-1981. 217/500. Image size is 23 x 11" paper size 30 x 22" and elegantly framed and matted in gilt wood to 37½ x 25" and is in excellent condition. Estimated Value $1,250 - UP

Sutton, Sharon E. Space Time and Articulation: Musical Suites I-IV (B). Four (4) Remarkable Works Where Elements of Music on Paper Create a Pattern Enhanced with Gilt Gold Collage.

Sharon Sutton is an American artist, educator and musician, whose life experiences and themes are clearly apparent in this suite of four galvanizing limited edition hand pulled collage lithography. While it might appear that these lithographs are simple patterns, closer viewing reveals each, square or cell is an individual pieces of music. Those individual elements are then combined and printed on sheets of arches paper then enhanced with extraordinary precision with gilt foil enhancements throughout. These four comprise a suite of lithographs she entitled Space Time and Articulation: Musical Suites and then numbers I (B) through IV (B). Each lithograph is numbered 13/15, the consistent numbered edition preferred. Each measure 30 x 30 are all modestly framed the same to 33 x 33"

Masami Teraoka. 31 Flavors Invading Japan/Today's Special. (1936-) Masami Teraoka is an American contemporary artist whose works includes Ukiyo-e-influenced woodcut prints and paintings in watercolor and oil. In 1982 he created a woodblock that hit the sweet spot of popular culture, fantasy, humor, and commentary. The 35 colors woodblock was printed in Tokyo on Hosho paper, #208 of 500 and measures 11 x 16 inches, professionally framed and matted in oak 16 x 22". Remarkable is the original print documentation included from Space Gallery, Los Angeles is included when originally sold in 1982. This piece can be found in numerous contemporary museums and truly a phenomenon of the genre. Estimated Value $1,500 - UP

Ting Shao Kuang. Harmony. (1939-) Born in Northern China, Ting Shao Kuang began painting almost daily at age 11 by making his own art supplies which were virtually non-existent after the Sino-Japanese war. He was invited to attend an arts high school and then graduating to the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. He was inspired by the works or Matisse and Picasso, but he had to experiment in such style and then destroy his works less he be condemned by authorities. After Mao died, Kuang was able to flourish and exhibit his works. He moved to the US in 1980 and his career exploded finding great popularity and acclaim. In 1986 he created this serigraph on paper, "Harmony" featuring a stylized woman surrounded by vibrant abstractions of a graceful and serene woman playing a harp surrounded by cranes emblematic of long life. This is one of Kuangs' most recognizable works, number 136 of only 275 editions, and hand signed in pencil by the artist in lower right margin. Serigraph measures 33 x 33" and professionally matted and framed in silver gilt wood to museum grade standards to 43 x 43". In flawless condition and immensely appealing. Original COA included. Work originally retailed for $11,500.00 in the 1980s, with his more recent works presently retailing higher. Estimated Value $4,000 - UP

Two Japanese Woodblock Prints, Framed. Two Japanese Woodblock prints, framed. The larger piece clearly indicates a confrontation of some consequence. Woodblock boasts vivid colors but know there are faint insect damage down center, visible only up close, the inside mat a clever way to disguise. It remains quite a compelling piece, 14 x 20" framed to 17½ x 23". The other a traditional portrait of a Samurai in a high castle, a window showing an endless sea, again boasting wonderful colors. 12½ x 8½" framed to 21 x 16½". Two very appealing pieces.
